This topic has been presented in a variety of formats to the Historic Albany Foundation for their Spring 2007 Preservation Workshop Series; to the City of Albany Historic Resources Commission (Nov. 2007); to the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation at their 2006 Annual Conference, Preservation 360º; and as a full day workshop for Adirondack Architectural Heritage (AARCH) presented at Camp Sagamore, Oct. 2007. Annual workshops have been conducted for Historic Albany Foundations from 2007 to present.
Several presentations made including the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation at their 2005 Annual Conference, Preservation 360º, the Albany Institute of History & Art as part of their “First Friday’s Event”, May 2007, and to the Turpin Bannister Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians in Dec. 2005. Additionally, Kim Alvarez has led several history walking tours of Albany’s Jermain Street Lustrons Historic District for Historic Albany Foundation since 2014.
